ABOUT US
The House of Miracle (HOM) is a branch of The Light of Christ Church World Wide. HOM is an inclusive, multi-national congregation joined in Christian community. We affirm the sacredness, dignity, and equality of every man, woman, and child and honor each individual’s freedom to worship God and to respond to his or her unique call to ministry and service.
We celebrate worship that challenges the mind, stir the heart and lifts the spirit within the context of music, art, and dance to express what we can never fully say. We fellowship with one another to love unconditionally as Christ loved. We put this love into action by ministering in the word, ever alert to the voice of human need wherever it may be heard.
OUR HISTORY
The church was commissioned in Baltimore on July 10, 2002, by our beloved spiritual mother Rev. Dr. (Mrs.) Alice Olufunmilayo Oyekanmi JP. – General Overseer. With a vision of growth, a small group of families assembled together to fulfill the pronouncement of God under the leadership of our able and respected minister – Pastor Jerome Oyeneyin.
The church started in the basement of one of the family members and later rented a hall to do our Sunday worship. In November 2006, our dear Pastor was spiritually ordained to lead the work of God to glory. On September 20, 2006, House of Miracle purchased her new and permanent sanctuary at 301 Willow Spring Road, Dundalk Maryland.
